Whether you're in the mood for a little French bar, a German-style beer-swilling pub or something completely off the wall, you'll find it all under one roof at Melbourne's Eurotrash Bar.
Wander up one of the city's famous little bluestone cobbled laneways and into a world away from anything you know. Eurotrash is a rambling yet cosy space famous for its flamboyantly tawdry d'cor that's guaranteed to appeal to your senses.
Each room, corner and walkway has a different theme - from the over- the-top psychedelic corner complete with kitsch pop art featuring Jesus, guns and guitars; to the La Louvre hallway, featuring beautiful hand painted works. Or wander into the bold red Turkish-style Harem Lounge that's lording above the bar and sit beneath red velvet chandeliers.
If you fancy something a little more Parisian, head to the French-style booths and cafe murals in the French Brasserie. Or weave your way through to the secluded little red light district for two, which is as close to Amsterdam as you'll find in Melbourne.
Outside you'll find the Eurotrash beer garden, featuring three levels of tiered decking with its own barbecue facilities. There's also an indoor traditional German-style beer garden.
But bear in mind it could be wise to book your favorite section for small groups, with management happy to give guided tours ahead of an event to see what's your style. And check out the second floor function space, dubbed The Gallery, which holds up to 250 of your closest mates.
